almost   5’ 5” tall, about 135 lbs, grew up in saint paul, mn ~ mentored by disney animator, frances goellert, who worked on snow white and song of the south. she was my mother ~ painted a complete color wheel at the age of seven ~ lived in a log cabin in the woods for two years (no electricity or plumbing) ~ drove a car to school in the sixth grade (country living) ~ was a police decoy to catch a child abuser at eleven ~ played dorothy in the wizard of oz ~ attended seven different colleges and universities. graduated from the art institute of chicago ~ helped christo wrap the museum of contemporary art, chicago ~ attended the metropolitan museum of art, nyc, centennial ball ~went to woodstock (the first one) ~ cast bronze bells at palo soleri cosanti foundation, arizona ~ met claus oldenberg and frank stella ~ plans to wear false eyelashes like louise  nevelson when eighty ~  covered a vw with sand to match the arizona dessert ~winter camped in the tetons ~  stayed and worked with ant farm, sausalito, ca ~believes her finest sculpture was a kinetic piece (wood and metal), powered by waves of lake michigan, chicago ~ married fourteen years/single parent of three for fourteen years ~ collaborated on a tile artwork for catalina islandbicentennial for avalon harbor... time capsule and all ~ eleven half wolf half retriever puppies ~ designed and built a house ~ worked full year on one relief sculpture for agribank, saint paul, mn ~ developed a mhs historic site newbuilding and its seventy acres of outdoor trails ~ independent contract sculptor for 3d target billboards, mn childrens museum, science museum of mn ~ worked on movie sets for mighty ducks and the bridge ~ worked on cleopatra set, guthrie theater ~ one of the sculptors for mn opera aida eagle  ~ trophy for best hotdish ~ painted at saic barewalls fundraiser ~ won grand prize, welsh publishing national photo contest  ~ recipient of mn state fair juried art show peoples choice award ~ swam in the dead sea ~ built a thirteen foot tall godzilla for a trade show ~ sculpture commission for christchurch, new zealand airport ~ five public artworks at mayo clinic ~ paddled 75-80 miles of the salmon river, idaho ~ public artwork at four midwestern universities ~ ms 75 inline skate ~ spent eighty hours grinding stainless steel finish on animal care and control sculpture, mpls, mn ~ presently working on:  spirit of peace, bronze and stone sculpture for lake harriet peace garden, mpls, mn ~ women in wood working invitational show, saratoga springs, ny, april 2005 ~ aluminum sculpture for alexandria technical college, alexandria,  mn ~ getting a villa in france
